FRP Institute formalized a collaboration with Link Institute of Composites Technology to deliver future-ready training programs supporting workforce development and technical capability in India. The LICT training calendar will launch in December 2025, with programs commencing in January 2026.

JEC Composites Talks India: A Strategic Dialogue Shaping the Future of Composites

The JEC Composites Talks is an annual industry-focused event organised in India by JEC in collaboration with FRP Institute. This exclusive, one-day, invite-only forum brings together senior professionals, industry leaders, experts, and key stakeholders from across the composites value chain.
The event provides a platform for meaningful discussions on the current landscape and future growth of the Indian composites industry, including emerging technologies, market trends, new applications, sustainability, investment opportunities, and industry challenges. It also highlights the growing contribution of composites to key sectors and to the Indian economy, while encouraging knowledge exchange, industry interaction, and collaboration among leading stakeholders.

JEC TALKS 2025

The JEC Composites Talks India 2025, jointly organised by JEC Group and the FRP Institute, was successfully held on 11th December 2025 at ITC Maratha, Mumbai. Designed as an exclusive, by-invitation forum, the event brought together senior industry leaders, policymakers, researchers, and technology experts to engage in high-level discussions on the evolving role of composites across critical sectors of the Indian economy.

The first technical session focused on Aerospace, one of the most significant growth drivers for advanced composites. The next session addressed Defence and Infrastructure, beginning with Dr. Makarand Joshi, Director, R&D Establishment, DRDO, who outlined new developments and business opportunities for composites in the defence sector, underscoring their critical role in performance enhancement and self-reliance.

A dedicated session on Circularity and Sustainability addressed one of the most pressing challenges facing the composites industry today. The post-lunch session focused on Mobility, covering both automotive and railways. Mr. Niteen Naik, Business Unit Head, Tata Autocomponents Composites, discussed innovations in products and technologies driving the next phase of mobility transformation. The concluding panel discussion addressed Human Resource Development, Talent Management, and Automation.

JEC Composites Talks India 2025 successfully served as a strategic platform for knowledge exchange, collaboration, and forward-looking dialogue. The event reinforced the collective commitment of JEC Group and the FRP Institute to strengthening India’s composites ecosystem through innovation, sustainability, and talent development—positioning India as a key global player in advanced materials.

ATIRA

FRP Institute collaborated with ATIRA for the 2nd International Symposium on Advancements in Composites, Speciality Fibres & Chemicals (ISAC 2026), held on 5–6 June 2026 at ATIRA–AMA, Ahmedabad, as a Supporting Organization.
Organized by ATIRA and Composites Association – India (CAI) in partnership with the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, under the National Technical Textiles Mission (NTTM), the symposium brought together industry leaders, researchers, innovators, policymakers, and academia.
The event focused on advancements and emerging opportunities in composites, speciality fibres, and high-performance materials, with discussions covering aerospace & defence, electric mobility, renewable energy, infrastructure, smart cities, drones, and sustainability. FRP Institute’s association with ISAC 2026 further strengthened its commitment to industry–academia collaboration, knowledge exchange, innovation, and the growth of India’s advanced composites ecosystem.

FRP Institute is proud to be a Supporting Organization for Windergy India 2026 – the 8th International Trade Fair & Conference on Wind Energy, scheduled from 7–9 October 2026 at the Chennai Trade Centre, Chennai.
The event brings together leading companies, industry experts, technology providers, and stakeholders from the wind energy sector to showcase innovations, exchange knowledge, and explore business opportunities. Through this association, FRP Institute supports the growing role of composite materials in wind energy applications and contributes to the advancement of India’s renewable energy ecosystem.
